An Announcement from Abeo School Change

At the dawn of a new school year we just wanted to acknowledge and celebrate the good hard work we see from you, our colleagues in school improvement and innovation.

And, as we prepare for the exciting challenges of the 2017-18 school year we'd like to let you know of some changes in our organization.

After more than 18 years with CES Northwest and Abeo School Change, effective Aug 1, Executive Director Holli Hanson will leave Abeo to begin a new professional journey. She will be joining The Center for Strengthening the Teaching Profession, an organization Abeo has worked closely with over the years, an organization that works to support and advocate for teachers and educational professionals across the region. Though she has begun a new chapter in her career, we know that Holli will continue to be a champion for kids and teachers and continue to keep the work of the Coalition of Essential Schools’ 10 Common Principles alive in all her projects.
As longtime Abeo partners, we (Chris Hoyos and Michael Martin) will take over daily operations of Abeo School Change. After this transition, we will continue to draw on Holli’s vast experience, as she will remain a key advisor to the Abeo program.

We wish Holli the best of luck in her new endeavor.

And if you have any questions don't hesitate to contact either of us.
