Michael works with organizations on developing 21st Century teams, systems, and leadership. Currently a talent development specialist and a collaborative platforms administrator for Coinstar, he works in both the for-profit and non-profit worlds with equal enthusiasm for both.

Michael has been a coach and consultant working on innovative school projects throughout the region. He was a strategist and project director for The Lincoln Center/Lincoln High Project in Tacoma and an instructional coach in the Clover Park School District.  A former music teacher (and current performing musician), he began his work in school redesign with The Small Schools Project, working as a coach on Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation school redesign initiatives. He holds a BA from the University of Washington's Comparative History of Ideas program, and an MA from Seattle University in Education and Philosophy.
